Terms of Service

Huely is an online-only digital subscription tool that generates paint colour schemes, finish advice, quantity estimates and on-screen visual previews from the briefs you provide. It is a creative and informational tool. It is not a certified decorating or painting service, and it does not sell paint, tools or any physical product, arrange labour or visit properties.

You must provide accurate account details and keep your login secure. The service is not for children under 13. Users aged 13–17 must have the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.

Plans are billed in USD as recurring subscriptions through our payment processor. Your monthly allowance resets each period and does not roll over. There are no credits or stored balances. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Huely provides colour and finish ideas only. It does not assess the condition or safety of any surface. Damp, mould, condensation, cracked or crumbling surfaces, structural or wall problems, and lead paint in older properties must be assessed and handled by a qualified professional before painting.

Huely does not provide surface-preparation, lead, damp or structural safety guidance. Ventilation and personal protective equipment during painting are your responsibility. Always follow the safety instructions on the products you buy.

On-screen colours are approximations and vary with your screen, lighting, wall texture and paint brand. Paint quantities and coat counts are estimates that change with surface porosity and colour depth. Always test a real paint tester on your wall and check the tin's coverage before buying.

You agree to use Huely lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or upload content they have no right to use.

We own the Huely platform and brand. You keep ownership of the photos you upload and receive a licence to use the outputs Huely generates for you, as set out in our Content License.

The tool is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that a colour, finish or estimate will suit your space or produce a particular result once painted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the tool's output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update the service or these terms; material changes will be notified. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, United Kingdom, and the courts of Scotland, United Kingdom have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
